Both Erato and Triton completed their finals and returned home for winter break, to the congratulations of their peers and friends. Erato promised to meet up with her sisters over the holidays, while Triton declared he would be leaving New York for Michigan as soon as possible. Dionysus invited himself along on the sea prince's trip to locate the next clue. Melpomene observed the odd coincidence of a Muse living in a place called Olympia, and the three Muses compared thoughts on the matter.
Apollo, still in California with Melpomene, called Arthur back to see if he'd left for Nebraska yet. Arthur admitted he was actually in California taking care of some business, but would be leaving soon. The two agreed to meet the next day for lunch.
For the other godlings, it was an uneventful day.

Frigg addressed her fellow Norse, asking them for their help and support as she stepped into the role of their leader. Sif and Tyr were quick to promise their allegiance, and to thank her for assisting them with their wedding plans. Sif inquired as to her dress, and Frigg promised to check in with Aphrodite about it on Sif's behalf, though she acknowledged it would be awkward for her.
Meanwhile, Seth contacted Bastet and Astarte so they could plan their trip to Memphis to investigate their clue. They agreed to all go together, and Bastet said she'd let them know her availability after taking care of her business with Loki.
For the other godlings, it was an uneventful day.

Apollo arrived in San Francisco to visit Melpomene. After a secretly emotional greeting, Melpomene had no trouble coaxing him into her bed, relishing the one-on-one attention from the sun god. After their lovemaking, Melpomene tried to invite him to visit her often, but Apollo turned the tables on her unexpectedly, and invited her to come live with him in Seattle. Melpomene asked for time to consider his offer, and he agreed, but not before insisting she come to visit him and the other two Muses for the holidays. She conceded, and he took her out to a nice dinner at a Greek restaurant where they talked more about their mortal lives.
While visiting Melpomene, Apollo did receive a call from Arthur, asking to see him again for lunch before he left the West Coast for Nebraska to see Gawain.
In Las Vegas, Loki met Bastet at her workplace to discuss their arrangements to pull off the heist. She took him to a private suite to conduct business, not trusting to meet in either of their homes. He presented her with a written guarantee for services to make the job worth her time, and then they planned the schematics of the operation. They decided to pull it off on Christmas Eve during a holiday party scheduled at the Excalibur, using the festivities as their cover. Their plans set, they engaged in some teasing banter before Bastet finally allowed Loki to seduce her.
For the other godlings, it was a day much as usual.

Arthur vented his frustration regarding the events that had happened at the hotel over the Halloween weekend, in that there was still no sign of Nimue and that he would not tolerate anything that qualified as a sexual assault on another. Frigg apologized on Loki's behalf for his behavior against Erato, and both she, Sif and Aphrodite remarked on Odin's disappearance. Asclepius expressed that he still carried feelings of guilt over Nimue's absence, though Arthur tried to reassure him. Erato herself expressed condolences regarding Nimue, and apologized for not being able to control her powers in attracting people to her.
Ariadne checked in with her fellow Greeks to see if anyone was any closer to determining the meaning of the clue--and Melpomene was filled in on the quest as well. Between Ariadne and Urania, it was decided that they should check Fort Mackinac to see what was there, and Triton was quick to volunteer to go and find out.
Loki, having been hired quietly by Gawain to retrieve the manuscript containing information on the Grail's whereabouts from an exhibit at the Excalibur Hotel/Casino, called Bastet and asked if she would come along to help pull off the theft. Bastet tentatively agreed, but only if she had solid recompense in hand first. Loki agreed to meet her the next day to seal the deal.
For Urania, it was the last day of classes, and as she would be returning to Seattle, asked if anyone she knew had plans over the holidays. Erato quickly said that she would like to see her sister that day.
Meanwhile, in New York, Seth and Astarte were continuing to reacquaint themselves, this time at a horseracing track. After engaging in some covert amorousness at the track, they returned to Astarte's place for a gumbo dinner and rekindling the physical side of their relationship. In between their romantic romps, Seth asked Astarte to contact Bastet so they could work on retrieving their own clue, as well as remarking on the disappearances of Nimue and Odin.
For the other godlings, it was a fairly uneventful day.

Sif, back in Chicago for the time being, contacted Tyr regarding their holiday schedules. They confirmed that they were planning to spend Christmas with his parents and were deciding on which house they wanted to purchase. They also began to speak of planning a family.

Astarte finally got around to introducing herself to the other godlings and inquired about Kali's relationship with Seth. She was graciously welcomed by her fellow Egyptians, as well as Gawain, Apollo and Kali, who told her that her relationship with Seth was nothing serious, and even suggested that they meet up in the near future.
Melpomene, Muse of Tragedy, also made her first appearance, to the delight of Apollo and her sister Muses. Erato eagerly tried to catch Melpomene up on the things she had missed, including mentioning the maenads' attack on her dormitory which Apollo explained in further detail, as well as the politics of their situation. The sun god also promised to visit Melpomene as soon as he was able to get to California. Persephone, Astarte, Sif and Asclepius also gave her a warm welcome, and although Triton's greeting was lukewarm at best and soon turned toward bickering with Melpomene.
For the other godlings, it was a day much as usual.

Halloween was celebrated with mixed feelings among the godlings in the wake of the event at the hotel.
Extremely worried over Nimue's disappearance, Asclepius tried everything he could to locate her, notifying the authorities, checking her shop, even doing some magic to try to find her, all to no avail. In the meantime, he adopted her cat Pendragon. Apollo, while keeping in touch with his Muses, and concerned in the wake of the attempted attack on Erato, did what he could to try to keep Asclepius calm over Nimue's disappearance. On November 6th, Asclepius celebrated Emily's 7th birthday one week early.
Arthur was equally troubled by Nimue's disappearance, and remained in the United States to work on deciphering the Arthurian clues, while he sent his brother back to Wales without him.
Ariadne worked both at her job and in trying to puzzle out the Greeks' clue. She remained in regular contact with Gawain, also worried about her missing friend Nimue.
Triton continued to try to pinpoint where the clue at the hotel was indicating the Trident might be found, and planning how to get there, in between his school work and activities. He also continued to do everything he could to locate Chelsea, along with Poseidon (who was also concerned about Medusa's disappearance). He did return to New York for Thanksgiving.
Hades and Persephone remained in regular contact, and Hades continued to shelter Chelsea in Chicago and work with her regarding her mother. On November 4th, Triton and Poseidon arrived on Hades' doorstep to bring Chelsea home after a tumultuous reunion.
On November 10, Loki celebrated his birthday with gusto, and continued to study the clue found at the hotel, still not even mentioning it to his fellow Norse.
Frigg focused on her work, trying not to worry too much over Odin's disappearance as she took over the role as leader of the Norse.
Astarte, despite having set up an account, did not use it on the forums, instead spending some quiet time reuniting with Seth and corresponding with Bastet via email.
Seth was also in contact with Kali, helping her however he could to grapple with the truth of her nature and as she puzzled over the clue she had found at the hotel.
Erato worked on her studies, returning to Olympia for Thanksgiving and hoping still to hear back from Achilles, but received no word from him.
Sif and Tyr were very busy as Sif worked on getting her franchise set up and planning their wedding. They went to Ames for Thanksgiving with her parents while Tina remained with her mother for the holiday. Although Sif's grandmother was a bit overly frank, Tyr was welcomed warmly by the Wheatleys.
Gawain did what he could to console everyone who had been close to Nimue, and worked on learning whatever he could about the Grail's location. The morning after Thanksgiving, he ran into Aphrodite, who was in Lincoln visiting her parents for the holiday. She purchased a book as a gift for her mother from him.
Otherwise, Aphrodite was hard at work on the commission for Sif's wedding party that Odin had requested of her just before his disappearance.
